The research of big wind turbine Plan Approved
On Oct. 22, the High Technology Research and Development Center The Ministry of Science and Technology organized the experts to hold the conference to examine and approve the key project “Double-fed VSCF 1.5～2.5MW WIND TURBINE GENERATOR SET (WGTS) R&D”under the National Key Technology R&D Program during Eleventh Five-Year Plan. The experts earnestly heard the report of the project undertaker, Zhejiang Windey Co., Ltd. and in consensus approved the project.

Moog Enters into Partnership with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Co., Ltd.
Moog announced its Industry Group reached a strategic partner agreement with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Electric Wind Power abbreviated below). From January 2010, Moog Industry Group provides Shanghai Electric Wind Power’s 2MW large wind turbine generator and the same series of onshore and intertidal zone machines with 400 power-driven pitch control systems. Shanghai Electric Wind Power is a joint venture established by Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd.

On October 18, TKR (Timken Company) and XEMC (Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Corporation Ltd.) Guodian United Power Technology to Hold 3MW wind turbine generator set Off-line Ceremony 1
On Oct. 14, Guodian United Power Technology held the off-line ceremony for its 3MW WIND TURBINE GENERATOR SET (WTGS) in its manufacture base located a Lianyungang City. The ceremony was hosted by Ye Weifang, Genera Manager of Guodian Technology & Environment; Gao Song, Deputy General Manager of China Guodian Corporation, and Xu Yiping, Mayo of Lianyungang City, presented at the ceremony and addressed. Wang Jianhua, CCP Lianyungang Municipal Party Secretary, also attended the ceremony.

Fourth Goldwind “Wind Power Cup” Games Ended
Recently, the Fourth “Wind Power Cup” Games conducted by Goldwind ended successfully in Beijing.
