SAWT Inc. about to set up office in the Netherlands

In order to better expand her business in the Netherlands and its dependency, SAWT Inc. recently made an agreement with her partner on the setting up an office in the Netherlands.

SAWT attend the 7th CWEE Wind Show

Between April 8th and April 10th, 2013, SAWT Inc, the world’s leader in small and medium sized Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) attended the 7th CWEE Wind Show in Shanghai, China. The event attracted more than 200 exhibitors, more than 10,000 visitors, and more than 60 speakers from around 20 countries. SAWT displayed its featured 1KW turbine and the innovative educational wind tunnel. The SAWT booth attracted many industrial and consumer visitors who are interested in wind energy for their industrial or home use.

Market Classifi cation
Almost 10% fan slip rings in the market are fiber brush slip rings,
which need little maintenance. Most slip rings (about 60%) are made of composition metal brush and generally are power feed contact sintered from metal and graphite. Even if the metal brush slip rings have a working life of 75 million revolutions as claimed by its manufacturer, they may require frequent maintenance. Single wire precious metal brushes (usually made of gold) are adopted for the other 30% fan slip rings.

Since the wind turbine system is aging slowly, not every wind farm owner can prepare for wind turbine maintenance because technicians needed for maintenance work are lack.

On Oct. 21, Li Jianhua, CCP secretary of Jiuquan City Gansu Province, commented the proposal made by Jiuquan Meteorological Administration to set up Jiuquan City Wind Power Forecast Center and considered this proposal is constructive and would provide powerful support to the grid access of the wind power generation network in Jiuquan city. Meanwhile, he also directed the meteorological administration to prepare well in advance.

National Energy Administration Affi rming Total Installed Capacity of Wind Power over U.S.A

According to Wu Yin, Deputy Director of China's National Energy Administration, at the 2010 China Energy Enterprise Summit on Oct. 29, China would exceed U.S.A at the total installed capacity of wind power to become the global No.1 by the end of 2010.
